DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Looks like an old Raleigh/BSA/Rudge from the 1950's-60's. A close-up of the head tube / badge and any frame numbers would help.

Can't see the chainring but there is sometimes the outline of the company logo as the arms.

Bit of history on the bikes owner . He lived on the same main road from me about 100 doors down . On the way to the local shops so for the last 25 years ive been saying hello and the last 15 got friendly as it turned out he was a joiner as i am .
I always remember seeing the bike at the end of the garage as i watched him push his nissan micra in . The garage was so small if he drove in he couldn't open the doors .
I never really had any interest in the bike to be honest but Frank passed away not long ago ( 96 years old ! ) and i saw it on the skip :stop: Not Franks bike !
I took it to the allotment tonight and made it back alive  What fun ! It was old school fun and made me laugh out loud riding it .
