Keep it flexible - and stylish. Then you decide on your light, and where it falls...either the Z Bar or the equo give dimmable LED

Unpunctured ceilings are 'way to go'!
Isn't Anglepoise the design classic in these matters? I like this bit from the Wiki article:
In 1948 the Board of Governors of the BBC asked the head of the Variety Department, Michael Standing, to devise a guiding set of moral standards and protocols for the production of all BBC radio and television programmes. Standing produced what became known within the BBC as the "Green Book", whose purpose was to eradicate smut, innuendo and vulgarity from all BBC programmes. After producing the book Standing took to implementing his guidance with eccentric zeal. In June 1949 he issued a memo to all staff in which he forbade BBC employees to illuminate any room with an Anglepoise lamp unless the main ceiling or wall light was also illuminated: Standing held a firm belief that a man working at a desk in a confined space with only the light from a low-wattage lamp would nurture furtive ideas and produce degenerate programme material. Director General Sir William Haley later rescinded the Anglepoise lamp edict as extreme and unnecessary.[4]

I have a dimmer on a central bulb and an angle-able desk lamp to the side of the monitor. I would fit some LED uplighters if I was doing it now, direct LED light is a little harsh and focused. I wouldn't want to be sitting any less than 45cm from a 21inch, the effort of turning my head would be ridiculous.... for some reason I can't get this song out of my head now.....

There appears to be a lot of wasted space behind your screen do you really need a shelf 850 wide?
How will you get your knees under a worktop only 130 from the floor?
Have you considered a standing desk?

My writing. 730 mm desktop height. Why do I need an 850 deep desk? Because I do other stuff on it. The screen's on a wall bracket that gets folded back to the wall. Besides, I need all the real-estate I can get to pile up all manner of (word-dominating) junk .
