The raging controversy at Chateau Slomo is whether we should have carpet or tiles on the floor. What's the current fad?
Would never have carpet in the bathroom and bidets are for washing golf clubs in (according to Mr M).
Anyway, what's the problem with carpets?
Suspicious 'spillages'. As one who has a stoma bag, trust me, a carpet is the worst thing you can have for leaving accidental stains.
Bidets are for feet and no other bodily part. The hose next to the toilet is handy though
I was in a hotel in Italy once, and very quick discovered the true use of a Bidet. Used in the right way, it is for your bits, and not just for cleaning them either!!
And lethal. I got out of a relaxing bath, put a wet foot onto slippery vinyl and, once the ensuing chaos had, erm, ensued, I was out cold with a dislocated shoulder. It all got a bit unpleasant after that.
Nitrous oxide is nice. Medics playing tug of war with my right arm, not so much.
That's why you get FLOOR TILES. Normal tiles or vynyl will be lethal, yes, but if you get the right kind, they are great.
If that happened in a hotel or somewhere, then you could sue - That should never have happened!
Oh and if you want carpet, get mats that can be lifted and washed. They also keep your feet warm, but, no, a proper carpet is like having a dirty, smelly, wet dog living in the your toilet, it surely is a hygiene risk.
I will bring your tragic tale to the attention of the ladies in this household. Carpet could be in with a chance.
Thank-you.
And they will, or at least should say
'Get floor tiles then!'.
There is absolutely no place for carpet in a toilet, just trust me on this!!
Having moved into my flat in 2012, I pinned a photograph of Lance Armsrtong doing a individual TT in the TdF facing my toilet in my bathroom
My bathroom is the only room Ive not decorated since moving in so the photo remains though I think it works facing the toilet
So he can see what 'great sh*t' you have??
