I'm not a serious cyclist, but in summer i go out and ride roughly 20 to 50 miles twice a week if i find the time. I'm trying to find a second-hand bike for under £100, but if i can find something brand new for less than £300 that has genuinely been reduced in price, i might splash the cash. Are any of these suitable? Edit: i'm 5'11" with a longish back and shortish legs.

The Carrera is not a bad bike for the price, and the Vikings are possibly OK.

But seriously, non of them look to be a patch on the Triban 3 - just go to Decathlon and be done with it

Triban 3. I don't own one but two of my friends have purchased one each, on my hesitant recommendation and they more than pleased with the bike. As a VFM product I think it would be hard to better. Would I buy one. Yes!

Thanks everybody. I'm getting a clear message(!).
Serious enthusiasts would say i get should get fitted properly, but in the real world, for casual-ish riding, would you lot say it's ok to just go ahead for a 57cm (i'm 5'11") ?

+1 for the Triban 3.

It's marked down to start with. Unlike most companies, Decathlon starts off with very competitive pricing on its bikes. It's looking to make its profit on the accessories sold with the bike.
