Shopping for Xmas lunch and presents
Recording a new rubbish song because it's mine and I can do rubbish really well
Showered and shaved best kit on
Out to a party with a bunch of strangers just to say hi and have fun
Leave party to go to Midnight mass
Get stuck in flooded dark country lane in deep mud puddle
Get lost in extremely familier country lanes in the dark
Stumble across passionate couple in laybye
Wave them merry christmas
reverse into wall at unlit smoked salmon shop
Beg forgiveness for cursing on this holy night
Fall asleep.

Well they were open and the bag of Jelly Babies and set of wipers for a 1972 Ford Escort seem to have gone down well, she seemed to really like the latter as she burst into tears when she opened it!

Well, it's a commercial thing, just like Halloween or Valentine's Day - which actually it most resembles, at least Christmas Eve does, which has become known as a time for lovers... nothing says Christmas like a quick visit to a Love Hotel!
