Any roofers/tilers on here ?

I have a ridge that, over the years, has lost countless ridge tiles. It must be in some sort of vortex as strong winds regularly lift at least a few of them.
5 years ago a guy who was aware of the problem did a real Rolls Royce job on it but last night, yes, another 7 got blown off and shattered.
Is there ANY way to prevent this happening.

I'm no builder but cant imagine there is a joist below the ridge.
However you have given me an idea. I wonder if the roofer can drill and put a coach screw onto the mortar ?

It's why latest reg's require mechanical fixing - screw to timber joist in addition to mortar.
