I see the New York Marathon is about to begin on Eurosport. I think I’ll watch it.

I’ve entered Manchester too. Hoping, as it’s one of the flatter ones, to get a good for age time for Boston.

Been on annual leave this week and only did a bit of indoor rowing so today’s 10k run was the first in 7 days.

Early April,14th… my training plan starts on December 25th! 😂

Finally back at it, and that was a bit messy, looks like there's some hard work to be done.

Just back from a 10 mile run. A lot of frost around and a bit slippery in places.

Ten miles for me today as well, longest in over a year. Felt quite strong at the end and will aim to build up to HM distance by end of the month.

She was so knackered that she "forgot" that she'd got a lift in her mate's car for 2.5 miles, and picked up a medal and trophy anyway...!

Solo half marathon run at a slow pace, legs felt a bit heavy at the end but pleased to get it in the bag.

I'm following a 10k training plan from " Coach Greg " in the Garmin ecosystem. Having "been there, seen it and done it" over the years I'm quite impressed with the way it's structured. Mrs Tkk and I have entered a 1/4 Marathon on New Years Day. It's a lumpy 2 lap course with two very long hills. Have done nothing for a fortnight as I have an ongoing case of the lurgy and feel really weak. Still, bags of time to get some fitness back and at least get round in one piece🤞

Another 10 miles today, same route as last week. Weather was completely different, no frost as a good 8 degrees or so warmer, with a strong headwind on the way out. Knew I had to control my effort as I had 5 miles back from the turn.

Overall 2 seconds per km slower than last week.

Local half marathon today. 3 minutes faster than expected and only a couple of minutes outside of my PB set in 2018. Very happy with that.

Down in London for meetings today. Brought running gear with me and went out for a 5 mile run, out from the hotel, round a local park, and back.

Now for a shower, breakfast and off to the meetings.
