Will go for an interest in Vlad Karpets, if its not to be him anyone as long as he is not wearing an Astana Jersey.

Personally i'd like to see an Astana 1,2,3, just to see ASO squirm but I doubt that will happen. Although he hasn't trained specifically for this race Contador must still be in the running and he has time to get ready in the 2 weeks before the 'big hills'. So I'll make him my choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've picked Di Luca on here and Leipheimer in my fantasy team. I can't remember why!! It may have been 4 credits difference.

There's lots of others who'd like to see that too - if only to give them more grounds for speculation on how that team produces such performances.

OK, since giro fantasy has started. From my team in fantasy league it's not too difficult to work out my thoughts:

    Podium potentials:
    Kloden, Karpets, Nibali

Chance at a breakaway win and a few points here and there:
    Pinotti, Ignatiev, Veikkanen
