anybody else had a go at Segway ?

one of my present's at xmas was a Segway session for my daughter and myself.
well we both enjoyed it as well and can thoroughly say its worth having a go .

Had about 5 minutes on one in Colwyn Bay last year. Good fun.

I had a go on holiday in Cornwall. I had a blast. The Segway woman said "Who's first then" and I said "Me, me me" so got the longest go as I was segwaying around the carpark while the others were learning and then we went off on a half an hour jaunt around the woods and some tourist attraction the name of which I cannot remember.

I wish that they were legal on the pavements and places of the UK. Awesome fun.

For my birthday, Mrs Salad bought an hour Segway "tour" at Leeds Castle in Kent, via Groupon. So it was cheap.

Really enjoyed it: good fun over "rough" ground - mostly just lumpy grass, not exactly tank testing terrain, but we had a lot of fun......
