Hello, Several years ago I subscribed to the magazine A to B. In one edition was described a new gizmo made by Steve Parry of a seat post with a Brompton luggage block fixed to the end and attached to the Dahon seat post at the other end! Most usefull for touring. Anybody else got one?.

I have seen one of these in use: it allows another Brompton front bag to be attached to the seat post, using a QR post, so can be removed for folding. I understand that Steve Parry makes items to order.

I looked at those and decided to make, and possibly market, my own rear block mount.

I fitted mine under the seat, at the top of the seat post, to allow my trailer hitch to be fitted at the bottom of the seat post.
