I have never wanted to go to Germany before but after watching this I just might. Sure beats my model railway

Not the sort of attraction one would normally seek out on a nice summer day, but I was wondering where I could go to escape the oppressive heat in Hamburg when I "found" this exhibition in 2010.
It was just amazing, spread over several floors of a converted dock side warehouse, I spent ages there!

My nephews have among their toy cars and stuff, a model of a Hamburg tram, with the route written along the side. I noticed it stops at the Reeperbahn...

I suspect, knowing the German fondness for slightly naughty railway modelling figures, that Miniatur-Wonderland has its own Reeperbahn too...
