I'm going there for a wedding. I've been told there's a cycle track of some description along the sea front. It sounds like one end to the other of it is probably as far as it's worth going.
Maybe I'll bung my shorts and a jersey in my bag, but probably not worth throwing anything else in.
I don't know what "Allah's Will" is for me, but I'd prefer it to be for me to have a nice slow meander along the seafront, rather than being run down by a taxi trying to get any further afield...

I've not been to the UAE, but I have been to five other Gulf states. Never seen a decent bike in any of them, but I have seen BSOs pootling around villages - never in the town or on main roads. And in Oman some of the ex-pats use them for getting around the military base, but that's it.
