Cycling out of Hathersage today got caught in a bit of rain, this quickly turned to hail after a couple of hundred feet, then as we approached the summit the hail turned to snow and the wind picked up.Unbelievably cold for nearly the end of March, the snow didn't last long but it left its mark as we had about 20 miles left to go. Wondered if anyone else had ridden through snow either today or ever??

Yes was horrible. I came out of Sheffield station about 230pm, started with freezing cold rain which turned into a flurry of snow for a short period.

This has happened because I took my winter tyres off, as I predicted it would!

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Not a blizzrd but that wind and rain were bitter, feet were cold even in winter boots and my garmin battery was flat so i only recorded 5 miles of it

For once then, it seems like us folks on the west coast of Scotland got a better deal with the weather today! :sun:

I put my fingerless gloves on as it was quite warm when we set off, coming down through Dore I couldn't feel my fingers. Think my t shirt and shorts can stay in the wardrobe for a bit longer yet!!!!

Sunshine light but chilly northerly good day today in Lakeland for a change took full advantage and got 60 miles in cold on the fell tops mind.

But have you seen the weekend forecast? That's because you changed your tyres that is:sun:
