I received an email from ebay this morning requesting I sign a petition to 'Demand an end to unfair Trading Practices'
Anyone else think this is a little cynical coming from a company that completely monopolise online trading , insist all sellers must accept Paypal payments even when they don't have, or cannot have an account ?
This is a company that moves their UK base of operations to Luxenburg to be immune from UK laws and circumnavigate UK consumer rights and pay less taxes on their greedy profits.
By gradually introducing restrictions so that all payments go through their Sister company Paypal , Ebay now charge on average 15%+ on each transaction .
They passively encourage fraudulant sales because they make huge profits on every sale regardless of whether it is legit or not. It is not in their interests to clamp down on sales of fake goods.
