Anyone else glad it's all over?

Don't get me wrong. Despite the avatar, I do quite enjoy Christmas day even if I cannot bring myself to get overly enthusiastic about the whole christmas thing.
Having said that, I am quite happy that it is out of the way and we can get back to normality. As an added bonus, we can look forward to spring and some longer days with better weather. Bye bye christmas; bring on the spring!

If Christmas was just Christmas without all the commercial pressure building up so early to buy,buy,buy, it would be just fine.
Now just the New Year sales pressure to get through and it'll all be over. Phew!.

Now ,how many eggs have I got to buy for Easter.............................................?

Me too. I enjoy seeing the kids (well the ones at home are all teens now) having a good time and cooking the dinner but that's it.
My tree will come down in the next few days...even though I'm Scottish and live in Scotland, we don't celebrate New Year as such, and my husband is working all that week (nights) anyway.

Can't wait for the better weather!!

That's pretty much how I feel.
I noticed, yesterday, how all the ads had changed from buy buy buy pressies to buy buy buy sofas and beds.
Tomorrow I might venture out for a loaf of bread and I only have enough milk for tonight (as long as hubster doesn't have cereal for supper)
