We were stuck in Dublin airport for nearly an hour waiting for the plane to be de-iced. But the chief stewardess pointed out it was possibly better than crashing into the North Sea.
She needs a geography lesson; unless she thought that the plane would somehow get that far with iced up flaps!

Another one here that can't wait for spring and summer, winters have always been a struggle, but I'm coping better these days than I was when I was younger.

Even the Corvids picking over the Chicken carcass we put out in the garden last night for the 'wilds' look miserable trooping around in the slushy snow and ice.

Miserable time of the year.

It has been miserable weather all weekend in Shropshire, with incessant wet snow (the sort that is just annoying rather than pretty) and rain. No bike rides yet again and I’ve not even set foot outside the house today. Oh well, at least I’ve got on with some housework and jobs that needed doing. Also been reading up on guide books for my upcoming holiday, which I hope will see some sunshine and warmer temperatures!

Wet, windy and generally horrible here yet again today. No cycling this weekend again and fast losing any motivation for getting out on the bike anytime soon.

Got a walking holiday to look forward to soon and I think some walking before then will be more enjoyable than cycling.
