Just to make it clear to those on here (and I don’t mean you
@pawl) who seem to be having problems with distinguishing fact from fantasy:
- The ‘flu vaccine does not give you ‘flu.
- The ‘flu vaccine for adults does not contain live virus.
- The ‘flu vaccine doesn’t contain mercury or other heavy metals.
- No reputable, competent health professional will tell someone in an ‘at risk’ group that they shouldn’t have the jab.
I’ve had the misfortune of having had ‘flu quite a few times in my life - thanks in part due to quite a long time on immunosuppressants as a teenager. Most have been Type C or Type B.
I did have the misfortune a few years ago of getting Type A (Swine ‘Flu) which landed me in hospital. It was also somewhat embarrassing as at the time I was part of the NHS regional team dealing with Swine ‘Flu...
Luckily I’d been vaccinated but it has left me with impaired lung function.
‘Flu isn’t funny.
