Hi Guys
Been commuting to work on a regular basis now since May and had no real trouble with my legs until yesterday when my glutes and hip abductors decided to burn like hell and feel awful!!! It's a 14 mile round trip so not too hectic.
I stretch when I get home from work and I do play other sport on some evenings so I am well used to physical exercise and doing stretches etc.
SO why would my arse suddenly decide to cease up to the point where last night I could barely walk 100 yards along my street??? I actually went to bed with an ice-pack on me backside!!!
I got the train one way today and cycled home at a moderate pace instead of trying to bomb it to give my legs a rest. Had a nice soak in a hot tub of bubbles and stuffed the anti-inflams down me throat!!
Any ideas???
Was it a dehydration issue?? Salts???
