Do the road signs for Scunthorpe provoke similar outrage?

Oh how clever they used the word f* to mean for, while dragging up an old joke that was never funny. Plus they've found an old neon sign from strip club. Oh these witty hipsters.

I used to pass the Phat Phuc Noodle Bar just off Kings Road and I admit that one would make me smile.

I don't really drink coffee so I'm not too fussed - it's a bit childish and they could have been more witty. But I'd say I'm more concerned by that Girls, Girls, Girls sign, as that does look offensive.
Yes, the shop name's bland for Bermondsey yet the girls sign doesn't appear to have upset anyone.

.....about as funny as calling a sports shoe shop "athletes foot"

Not big or clever.

But that isnt rude, it is just a silly pun, the coffee shop is being deliberately provocative.
I wouldnt take my kids in there, i am not their target market, so they dont care, but they do have a responibility to the local area to act with some respect.
There is a time and place to push boundaries and shock, but a coffee shop isnt it.
He could have called it" See You Next Tuesday". Much more subtle.

Northampton had 'trouble' with a local furniture company Sofa King using the slogan 'our prices are sofaking low' many years ago..

The chap got so much free advertising from it in the newspapers.
