Anyone Fancy a Nissen Hut?

I've got this Nissen type hut I want rid of, need the yard space. From memory it's about 3000sq feet. It's a WWII military construction AFAIK, the site is an old WWII airfield, it's corrugated sheeting over a scaffold framework. It looks a but ragged but is watertight and in reasonable nick.

Any ideas on who would be interested in such a beast or is it just scrap?

You can build an excellent large shed out of these if you build walls and mount the Nissen hut on top.

I think what you're looking for is called an Anderson shelter.

Assuming it's not asbestos ridden...

When I had an allotment, the site hut was like that. Might be worth enquiring if any local allotments need such a thing?

Or any heritage railways, small local motor museums etc...

It would be a bugger to mow with a slope like that. Good drainage though.
