So if I understand @Spinney they will twist the nose through 160 degrees leaving blood vessels intact. That explains why they have grown it there and upside dpwn.

I think so, yes. Otherwise they would have to cut it off, and join blood vessels from the face to the new nose - much more complicated than a bit of a twist!

I think this guy could be looking into this in the near future.

Presumably, then, using skin from the forehead could help men who've been circumsised!
