I've had mine on 2 different bikes over a 10year period. One was a hybrid with front fork eyelets & 700C wheels, and the second was on an old kona mtb with non eyeletted Project 2 forks. Worked on both and I've found it to be a very good rack. I know there are better forks available these days ( Tubus for one ), but I have zero complaints about the FL 1.

Arse.............

If I'd bought the panniers I liked (not Ortliebs) I would have them on the bike by now. A last minute sales push 'Look what you can get for an extra £2.00' had me buying the Ortliebs (good panniers - don't get me wrong) but they won't fit the low rider.

A trip back to Evans is now in the pipeline.

my ortliebs fit.

that rack wont fit on some forks that are too big for the U bolts(so it depends on the forks), mine only fits because I have "lugs"

Tubus when I upgrade.

The blackburns as far as I can make out have been the same design for donkeys years, so are less likely to fit some modern bikes, because the rack design hasn't changed, but the bikes have.

I happened to be lucky and asked the shop to fit the front rack at the time. then luckily my rear black burn was able to be transferred onto the new bike.

YMMV

How come they won't fit the rack CP?
