Anyone got an 8mm camcorder?

I've mentioned this before and someone(can't remember the posters name)kindly offered me there's for a small fee. I have quite a few 8mm tapes that i want to convert to dvd before their quality deminishes,but i don't want to buy one off e bay as they're too much money. I only want to use one for a day or so,so 40 quid plus p&p is a bit too much to pay and i'm worried that i might buy a duff one. Have any of you got one i can borrow(i'll pay p&p both ways),or one to sell for a reasonable fee?
