Has anyone got or used one of these,

Any thoughts on these would be welcome however harsh, also am i right in believing i would need a large hard drive to store or load on to a hard drive even just to watch especially HD.

File size depends on resolution. Higher will make bigger files - 1080 cassed as "real HD" will be much larger than 720p sometimes refered to as HDready.
Frame rate will make a big impact, again higher will make larger files. For fast paced action higher is better so you can capture more of the movement.
And whatever codec the thing compresses at will affect file size. Can't seem to see what those two shoot in.
So if you wanted to store lots of files then yes you would need a decent size hard drive. Maybe an external one if you don't want to mess around inside your computer.
Sorry, can't offer any input on those cameras.
