Anyone have electric underfloor heating?

Hello cycleheads,
as part of our bathroom renovation I would like to install some kind of electric underfloor heating.

But I'm not so sure about the different systems and have no experience with this kind of heating (but with other DIY projects), so I thought I'd ask if anyone has had any experience of this.

The floor is solid concrete and I will lay down some sort of insulating/levelling board first, then the UFH System i found here: http://www.warmfloor24.co.uk/under-tiles-heating.html (Shall I go with a mat system or a cable system? How much power do I need?), then the ceramic floor tiles we've chosen. As i understand this heating systems can be layed directly into a thin layer of tile adhesive.

Has anyone done this before as a DIY project?

I've done this, and I'm pretty sure it was the Warmfloor products, specifically the rolls of matting. The advantage of the rolls is the carrier matting holds the cables in place very precisely as it's very important to get the correct spacing (read the instructions on that carefully). The heat really doesn't go sideways well at all, so an over-sized gap will be a noticeable cold/cool spot. There are lots of how-to guides, but basically you tape the matting firmly in place on the board, fill up all the gaps (important!) with tile adhesive, then apply the tiles on more adhesive on top. It is *not* a 'thin layer of adhesive'; the gaps need to be all filled in for both integrity and function. I won't comment on power as they have calculators for that and I was doing 60 square metres as a sole heating source in a large room. Works superbly :-)
