Anyone here from North Wales/ Chester?

So who's from my neck of the woods?

I live in a little village called Higher Kinnerton, which is just inside Wales, five or so miles from Chester.

Also, do any of you near me have a torque wrench which I can use for tightening a crank arm (8mm allen key head) which can tighten up to 40newtonmetres?

Plax is not-so-very-far away (Snowdonia IIRC) but I doubt she has a torque wrench.
If it's a square taper crank, as I suspect it is from the 8mm Allen key, just do it up really tight.

I can't physically get it tight enough with the short (aka normal length) allen key which I possess, it just comes loose again.

A few miles away near Holywell, and with a torque wrench. What is 40Nm in ftlbs? Or does that question expose my age, despite working in metric all day long?
