Anyone in Birmingham use the Harborne Walkway?

I came home last night from Birmingham via the canal route then a short hop up Dudley Road and then through Summerleaze Park and down the Harborne Walkway all the way to the Hagley Road near Bearwood where I live.

I was really impressed with the route and went that way again this morning.

Has anyone had any trouble with it? ... i.e not the sort of place for a woman alone type of trouble? I have used the canals for years with no "bother" but the walkway is a new one on me - it was very quiet!

(Not planning on using it in the dark!)

Never heard of it, sounds nice, might check it out next time i'm around there. Is it a walkway or shared use ?

Well it's called "walkway" but there are blue cycling signs all over the place so presume it is shared use! Nice wide path though so plenty of room for "us and them"!!!
