I've just won a frameset on ebay. To cut a long story short it's down as collection only but I'm in Bolton! Why did I bid? Well I emailed the guy about packaging it so I could arrange my own courier, but he didn't get back to me and I had to make an executive decision before it ended.

I'm in no rush what so ever to get the frame, but I wondered if any kind CC'er would consider collecting it, banging it in a frame box, (if the buyer won't, and free from virtually every LBS), and letting me arrange a courier to collect it from you............................. please?
I have no specific details, address etc as yet, but if anyone could see their way to assisting me I would of course reimburse you for any fuel used and also for your inconvenience and kindness.

I used the Wife's eBay account, so it's no skin off my nose

Seriously though I've not heard from him yet, but he did say if it didn't sell he'd consider re-listing it with postage, and I've even offered to send him a frame box and packaging and apologised for any assumptions he feels I might have made.

I did email him earlier today and he hasn't responded, but for the price it was I had to have a punt.

At the end of the day all he needs to do is put in the box I send and let me know it's ready, I'll do the rest if I don't get any generous offers on here

I don't see that I can do any more to grease the wheels, and I got him a few extra quid because there was only one bid on it when I bidded, so he's made a bit more than he would have done. If he's not prepared to even do that then I'll just put it down to experience and find something else

I'm Bristol based so could help out. There's a DHL depot close to work so probably easier for me to drop it off there rather than try to arrange for somebody to be at home for collection. PM me if interested. Cheers.
