Fully rideable on 25mm road tyes? In Bristol area next weekend and will be parking at Lyde Green P+R and heading into the city by bike on the BBRP
Thanks!
Yep completely ridable on 25mm road tyres. It's paved, no gravel or anything.

Sorry, a bit of a diversion, but... is the route barrier free?, we are looking to ride it on a Hase Pino Steps Semi-recumbent tandem, anti motorcycle type barriers often pose problems for us.
Thank you in advance

There are a few spots but I think, having looked up that tandem, that they will an inconvenience rather than impassable.
Possible issues: Warmley station crossing
Victoria road crossing
Bitton railway crossing. These gates have always been shut when I've used them.
If you are going to the Bath end, may I also recommend the Two Tunnels path which starts pretty near to the end of the BBRP.
There are some gates and barriers, cattle grids, some narrow sections and some bollards to be aware of, and some narrow openings where the path meets the road or a car park in once instance, but these are all on the section between Mangotsfield and Bath. I cannot comment about the other direction because I seldom ride that way.

Just a thought, TDF riders are now on 30mm tyres but if you have an older bike you may not have the clearance for wider tyres.
I don't, 25mm are a squeeze, it's a 15+ year old frame design
