I saw my first recumbent cyclist this morning in headingley this morning. About 7.30. Anyone here?

I cycle through Headingley most weekdays. I'm either on a black Brompton with an SQR bag, a yellow HPVeloTechnik Spirit, or my blue HPVeloTechnik Grasshopper, which I've only had for a few weeks. I have the obligatory beard, less hair than I'd like, and sometimes wear my SPD sandals. :-)

It looks bloody uncomfortable! Is there some sort of head support?

Both of my recumbents are *very* comfortable, particularly the Grasshopper, and yes, that one does have a headrest. I don't use the headrest often; just occasionally during long climbs.

I'm *loving* the grasshopper. It's comfy, fast, and even climbs hills rather well. We did a cycle around the Panopticons of Lancashire on Sunday, which came to less than 60 miles but 6500 feet of climbing!
