Anyone joining in Black Friday?

Understand a certain US owned supermarket is leading the field but I decided it was not for me. I don't do the sales, either.

The only shop I'm going to today is probably the chippy, might ask if there's a discount.

I did partake at a certain fruit based technological company. I needed their equipment, so to be able to buy it at a discount was helpful, plus it was a 'company' purchase

We went to Brent Cross shopping centre this morning to take back a broken coffee machine. Several stores were participating...including Apple - there seemed to be queues of people waiting to buy iPads and iPad minis. Both had about £50 of their retail price.

Poo... now you tell me... wanting to get a mini... (not the car) (or the skirt)

I got a GoPro Hero3 Black Edition/Surf. Now all I need is a surf board....and a beach. Impulse buying at its finest. I am such a sheep.

EDIT: I missed out on the $10.00 4 quart crock pot. Waited too long to hit the buy button.

The retailers may be trying to generate another sales event, but I still have no idea what it has to do with us, or should I wait for the Bastille Day sales next year

missus went to the local asda/wallmart/borg and had a look at what they had on. uttered the words "thats c**p" and walked out. local town is rammed with traffic all trying to get a deal.
meh.

looked at getting the Samsung s111 mini for £100 but our local store had been emptied before 9 am
