I got a new (to me) desktop PC with a quad core processor, 300gb hard drive and 4gb of ram for a little under £28. Didn't have to get up at 4am or fight or nothin'

I bought the girls' Christmas presents at a cheaper price than the store was charging the day before, but as I was going to buy them yesterday anyway (because it's the last payday before Christmas) I guess it doesn't count. Kobo Aura e-readers, if you must know.

I bought cycling shoes at my LBS, 25% off. Took Mrs GA to TJ Maxx, she bought a purse. Keeping Christmas under control this year, as we have charities who need some extra help.

Ooooh! If that was cash it would be yours but I have a sneaky feeling they will refund your card.......

Just moved home, current needs according to shmbo, huge curved TV as the kids will be here for Christmas, condenser drier as its apparently no longer acceptable to dry them on a clothes horse, there was more but I've ignored her that long I've forgotten.

I've checked all the Black Friday deals but reckon it's still all about the marketing so I'm going to hold out for the Boxing Day sales that will inevitably start on Christmas Eve.
The price has been corrected to 1190 euros now. I have a bad feeling about this.
Unfortunately (for you) the law on this is quite clear.

The supplier can choose to cancel your order or fulfil it. If they fulfil it for goodwill purposes then good for you, you got a real bargain. However, if they cancel it the legal route is then to show that you considered that the price offered was real, fair and reasonable...ie you believed it

If you could convince a court that this was the case the court would enforce the contract. However, as I'm sure you appreciate this would be pretty tough to do

done my shopping, but only 1 bargain

I got the Garmin Varia Radar unit on Amazon for £100 .... I saved £25 plus the cost of next day shipping if I had bought it off Wiggle (I have Amazon Prime, so I get next day delivery for free .... nice to try it on Sunday on a long ride)

I bought the Garmin Varia Edge 1000 remote control .... same price as Wiggle, so no bargain

and 1 continental Grand Prix 4 season tyre ... full price and no bargain

I went into a few bike shops in Cambridge looking for the radar unit and remote switch, but none had it in stock

I heard that it was chaos at some of the large clothes shops in Cambridge though

Here for rides.
I paid for the wine at lunch even though I only drank water. Settling the bill was the only spending I did today.
