As I have needed to build this up in a hurry, it would be nice to know a little more about it. Four digit number on bottombracket, Falcon headset and made for a 27 inch wheel. Can't find out owt from Google.

Hard to be sure with so little info by my guy call rrom the style or the forks is mid-80's. Are there any date codes on the rear of the dranks, brakes or derailleur that would confirm or disprove this?

Came, as just the frame and untouched for many months after prising the old bottombracket out. I don't think the bike shop advertised on the yellow sticker exists anymore.

Have you a picture of the lower end of the frame, showing that badge and any other markings in the area?

Tried looking up Dorridge Cycles when I got the frame last year

BITD we sold generic sets of transfers (decals) that people could put on any frame they liked. , names like Chieftain, Meteor, Rocket and I'm not surprised if there was a Victor.

Given the number for the bike shop starts 01 its going to be 1995 onwards when the UK started using 01 numbers. Unless it was already old when stickered up or new old stock.
