Anyone Living With Haemochromatosis?

My older brother has just been diagnosed and I need to go for a test. All a bit daunting particularly for my brother as it seems to be a treatment for the rest of his life and I have a 25% chance of developing it as well. I have two other brothers who will need to be tested.

A family friend lives with it. After a long and confusing period of tests and what have you he's living with it. It took him very much by surprise at the time.

Apparently it took them quite a while to diagnose his, even though he suspected it was that due to the symptoms he had.

Yeah. Pauls' diagnosis was made more complex by him being a complete pisscan at the time. Hasnt touched a drop since.

No booze permanently, think my brother drinks more than I do. Mine is the odd blow out on a sociable basis.
