Seriously considering taking a hot fruit tea or something out on the bike with me, it's so cold outside!

Anyone done this before? Can bike bottles handle hot drinks? Obviously I won't pour boiling water in it but it'll still be quite warm!

Thoughts please, try it or man up and get on with it?

I guess a flask in a backpack or large saddle/bike bag might work.. riding whilst drinking a hot drink = disaster in my opinion!

In winter, I make my usual pink grapefruit squash with 50:50 cold and boiling water. It makes it a lot easier to drink for a few more miles.

There's nothing manly about feeling thirsty and cold!
Chuck a thermos of tea and a jam and cheese piece in your pannier and get out there^_^.
I wouldn't be putting hot liquids in plastic water bottles.

Sometimes, tea or coffee. I've got a flask I bought in Woolworths that by chance happens to fit into a bottle cage pretty well.

Yes, I take a thermos. Since I almost always cycle with a rucksack I just put it in that. My drink of choice is hot chocolate.

These are my companions on a chilly day, bottle of juice and flask of coffee.
Got the flask in a local shop, can find them in outdoors, camping type shops. It went a bit funny because I put it in the dishwasher but it still works fine .
