No tree in Chateau Wafflycat this year, but only because the redecoration of the lounge started on 27th. The paper is off the walls, cracks filled (ooh-err, Missus!) the walls washed down with sugar soap and Mr WC is putting new paper up. Once he's done that I take over as chief painter-in-residence. He's better at doing papering & I'm better at painting.

All our Xmas stuff has been taken down and packed away in the loft - except the outside lights that were pretty wet, so they are drying off in the garage

Ours will stay up for the 12 days, so Jan 6th wil see me dismantling them all.

Our tree will probably come down sometime between 6th Jan (Epiphany) and 10th Jan (last day of Christmas this year).

All our decorations were taken down and stored away today, first of Jan, as is the tradition in our house, as someone said new year new start, holidays almost over and we are starting to return to normal.
