I was thinking for bike lights, also as a possible as wii remotes. Ours tend to get left for a while then hammered for a few days.

You'll not have any problems fitting them in Wiimotes although they tend to hammer the batteries. Depends on your philosophy, some people think more is better.

Bike lights. I use both Maplin Hybrids and bogstandard in Hope Vision 1s/Cateye EL-1000/Mars 4.0 and they work great. Had to hollow out the chamber on the EL-1000 a bit with some sandpaper to get them to fit easier but after that works really well. I used to get dimming issues in the winter on the uniross where when the temperature dropped the light would go dim and when you went inside for a bit they'd brighten up again. The hybrids seem to work less well in cheap cateye front lights and there are often chamber fitting problems.
