Hi,

My current contract is up, and EE seem to have a decent deal at the moment that Im interested in.

I remember there being quite a lot of negative reviews when they first started, but how are current users finding them?

Im with T-Mobile at the moment, not had a problem with them.

EDIT: @Mods I know this is a techy thing, but could you leave it in the café for a while so it gets some views and replies before you move it please? Thanks!

I'm on EE. Not having any issues, damn sight better than 3 (coverage is actually crap)

They make use of the Orange and T-Mobile networks too, so coverage is wide. If you have a 4G capable phone, it's extremely fast when you are in a covered area.

I have been with them for a month as I wanted 4G (and no one else provides on an iPhone 5). They seem ok other than cocking up the first bill but the 4G isn't the super whizzy thing I expected

Track your switch through Quidco, if they pay out, the cashback is quite good

They are basically T Mobile / Orange, so you may just need to call and haggle a deal to stay (and won't get new customer cashback)

I'm on EE 4G having upgraded from Orange 3G .. better package for less money per month.

What's not to like?

Seperate company to either t-mobile or Orange.
They have their own set of 4G masts(neither t-mobile or Orange do 4G).
If 4G is what you are looking at/for then EE is your only way forward, with the three mentioned.
Vodafone do 4G.

Why does my EE bill say T Mobile on it then? And why have all Orange and T Mobile shops been rebranded EE? I think T Mobile and Orange merged and now under the EE umbrella

Ee tmobile and orange are different brands from the same company aiming at different marker segments they are not separate companies

Been with EE for about a year, unlimited calls, internet and texts..£27 a month, plus £50 got me a galaxy S3. Best deal out there at the time. Sadly you dont get that deal now.
I work out in the sticks and O2, although their deal was good at the time, their coverage was poor ..EEs signal is much better locally.

I work for them as tech support. Anything is an improvement on orange*COUGH*
EE is good as unlike most they cap your useage so you can't go over your plan and gain extra charges
The only company which has 4g outside of London and maybe 2 other places. I think O2 is next with 15 compared to EE 140+ cities. With that most have been upgraded to double 4g which is around 30-40% faster depending on location. However it's only data. intro of txt and calls on 4g has not come to the uk on any network.
All plans have unlimited txt and mins. Difference in tariff is data.
Can't think of much else really.
Although I would never leave t-moblie my self
