Just received these from my father in law. Shimano 600 hubs. They run nice and smooth. Been looked after no doubt. Michelin tracer tyres 700 X 23 held their air overnight too. Thinking of putting them on my Eroica bike. Need to change the cassette if I decide to stay 10 speed. It's a 14 speed Shimano on the rear now. Look to have plenty of miles left in them. Worth the change from the Weinmann rimmed Mallaird hubbed 25s I'm currently using? Any info appreciated. Will change the brakes and gearing to something better than Altus too in time . Thanks Gerry

I'd say that Shimano 600 hubs would be superior to Millard any time if running well.

Yeah they're very smooth, front and rear. Will try them on the bike later. One more question: could I adjust the rear derailleur to accommodate the 7 speed cassette? Can't remove the Mallaird at present, no removal tool. G

Thought that might work. Will get them in the frame later and have a play. Cheers Gerry
