Is anyone interested in the Monty Python reunion?
I like the films in my student days, but feel that this should be left in the past. I wont be rushing to see them.
They give the impression of only wanting to do it for the money.

Of course they're only doing it for money - what other possible reason could there be? To express themselves artistically? I hadn't heard about it, but I find the news rather dispiriting. I'd love to be proved wrong, but it sounds like a clunker to me...and I speak as a fan.

Am I the only person who didn't find the Dead Parrot Sketch even remotely funny the first time?
Really, I just don't get the obsession people seem to have with it!

That said, I'd buy a ticket just so I could say I saw them!

Most of what they did wasn't funny the first time round, so a 2nd time will be bloody awful.

I much preferred the films anyway (except for 'The Meaning Of life' of course. That was just scraping the bottom of barrel par excellence!).

They will have had enough time to think up new stuff by now surely though?

They have openly admitted its for the money - thats why most of us work aint it . i was too young to see them first time around and wouldn't mind seeing them even though i could probably recite the words for them - then again if i went to see a band who i like i could probably sing the words to the songs so can't see much difference .
