I had a wooden bike once.

It had a curved crossbar and when I threw it in the shed, it came right back and hit me.

non steel frames

Oh I don't know. All my bikes are steel. They range from being quite heavy to very heavy. I have just had a wonderful idea. I am going to build a bike from Balsa wood. Just think how light it would be:thumbsup:

the hairy one?

like someone just wiped it clean?

I fail to understand how it won't be clean mine so now it's coated in black oil and dirt

Corrected that for you Tynan

Mines still nice and shiney, although not gold. I'm not a tart

I could fly to New York with an old bike in a travel box.
Junk the old bike and buy a Spesh Tarmac Pro.
Fly it back and still spend less money than buying the bike in the UK.

hmmm
In NY, $5000 plus sales tax = $5500.
In the UK, £3500, which at current FX rate ~= $5500
Assuming you don't get collared by HMRC you're only out of pocket your travel expenses

I admit, I'm a tart.
