Monday - went for a little bike ride, nearly killed me
Tuesday - washing and ironing
Wednesday - should have gone kayaking, but cancelled

Friday - cleaned flat
Saturday - went to the garden centre.....and got very wet

I've had a pretty boring week too:
Sunday - went for 100 miler (that was about as exciting as it got),
Monday - recovered other than that lowlight nothing happened.
Tuesday - I can't recall it was so boring.
Wednesday - Headed to uni to see about starting off my dissertation project, decided the experiment lacked repeatability so its being redesigned
Thursday - I can't recall it was so boring.
Friday - I can't recall it was so boring (spot the recurring theme).
Saturday - went on the Dunfermline CC ride this morning which was fun (and I've finally sourced and resolved a creaky pedal) but now its back to boring

I'm definitely one of CycleChat's most boring members! I have averaged probably 155 hours a week alone in my house for the past 7 years. There is no animal life in the house, other than a few spiders and moths. There is no plant life in the house. There are no photographs, posters or paintings hanging on the walls. I go out socially about 3 times a year for a few hours at a time. I don't listen to much music any more. I use the internet a lot, watch TV and read. From time to time, I pick up one of my guitars and play about for a while but I'm not very good at it.

Exceptions to this tedious life are the 10 or so hours a week when I'm out cycling or walking, about half of that time with other people.

The rest of you can give up now - I've got this boredom thing sewn up!

Monday - signed on to the dole. Depressing.
Tuesday - had a job interview and realised that if I got the job, my manager would be a nutter. Stayed at my boyfriend's. Chain fell off and it chucked it down on the way there.
Wednesday - decided to cook my boyfriend something nice for lunch. Went to Morrison's, got ingredients, and made stilton and walnut tart. Dropped it on the floor. Sulked. Did some uni work. Went to the pub.
Thursday - went to the gym.
Friday - went shopping.
Saturday - took some shoes back, went to the park, bought a salad tray from Morrison's and scoffed the lot. Put some washing in. Going to a family party tonight.

Boresville. Hopefully next week will be better, I'm doing some office temping. How sad is that, that work is more exciting than my life?

I used to worry about being boring, especially after hearing the phrase, "He could bore for England." (not directed at me). Then I met people who could bore for England and realised I wasn't in their league.

I drove the White Van to work and drilled some holes in a small plastic polycarbonate enclosure. Oh well, I had to tap some threads into them as well.

I felt totally reckless, wild, and young....

I wish I had gone on the bike though.

Oh, yes. And my OH called this morning to ask if I'd done the gardening! "Too wet" I said.
[/quote]

Too Wet? ... I was up at my parents yesterday (M4 just outside London), and was amazed how little rain they had considering how much rain we had to drive through to get there - they had one 5 min shower and that was it... their garden is brown!!

My week
Mon - work, laundry, feed children, take one child shopping for stuff for camp
Tue - work, laundry, feed children, hand over money for children going out
Wed - work, laundry, feed children, hand over money for children going out
Thur - work, feed children, FINISH work for the summer
Fri - laundry, feed children, take one child shopping for stuff for camp
Sat - go shopping for yet more stuff for camp, go visit my parents

Sun - GET rid of children to camp

.......... yeh don't have to feed them, give them money or buy more bits or wash anymore ... "Mum I forgot this needs to be washed!!!!" Well not quite- one is too young to go but his idea of fun (if I let him) would be to sit and watch Jonny English or Simpsons or play on the computer .... and he's not even that bothered by food, and certainly not bothered if he has any clean clothes.
