I can't find a link to it but I've just watched an Argos ad for bikes and it appears they have caught Halford's disease. Part of the ad is for a full sus gent's mtb for £100. Unfortunately to show it on national TV with the forks on the wrong way round is bad!!!

Maybe it's something to do with their return policy.

I've seen the ad, didnt notice the forks though.

It is for an adult Raleigh MTB 50% off, ie £99.

When I was a lad Raleigh of Nottingham was seen as a quality british product, now their low end bikes are just cheapo far east imports made of cheese. No doubt they still trade off the back of past glory.

Yeah have a look next time. I had to rewind it to make sure but they are definitely back to front.

Asda were the original culprits with their ad showing a bike with the forks back to front.
Why their signature tune is "who do you think you're kidding Mr Hitler" is beyond me.

Just saw it half an hour ago ^_^

It is surely wrong to discriminate against minorities who prefer to cycle with their forks on the wrong way round....

I still think there would be a market for a cheap but robust and basic bike. I think it should be possible to sell a solid bike for ~£150 without it being made of cheese.
