+1 for Brave. It's noticeably faster and it's easy to turn off the blocking for certain sites if you need to.

The trouble with Brave is that it's really Chrome with a load of software on top to protect your privacy. It uses a huge amount of RAM which can slow your computer down more than the trackers, particularly if it's a low spec machine.

Chromium for the win, although getting a bit naggy these days but still better than chrome, edge, brave, opera.
