Im going to a massive firework display and piss up on the river Lot tonight. It happens every year, loads of people, food and drink and naff all health and safety stuff. So it could be a French armageddon of sorts.

Is it Bastille Day? I had a lovely night sitting on a boat in a French harbour one Bastille Day watching the fireworks. Only the French would celebrate a prison break....

Bastille Day is July 14th l think but this could be a sort of belated event, l went last year and the year before but in truth the significance of it all becomes a little hazy with the passage of time. I will attempt a few photos and some more informed info.

I'd watch Ray Mears. He lives off the land and is nicely chubby, whereas Bare Grills is skinny and scrawny, so isn't extracting as much nosh from the moss.
