My Helmet only just fits me so up until now I have had no way of wearing a hat under it( my ears and head have been freeeeeezing), a couple of days ago I decided to make a buff Head Scarf( or neck tube) from an old t shirt (yes I'm am a cheapskate) It's been absolutely brilliant I use it as a neck scarf on my Motorbike as it stops the wind on my neck and from going down my chest and also has the advantage of helping to stop my visor misting up, I’ve used it as a head scarf/hat inside my bicycle helmet keeps the old ears and head warm and then used it as a general hat at work ( I work outside all day in all weathers) you can even use the thing as a balaclava. Brilliant me thinks!

I've never used one but after all the praise they have had on here I've just purchased a Merino Wool Buff. Hopefully there as good as people say

a reminder that if anyone wants a new buff, then purchase the latest copy of Cycling Plus as it has a free buff attached to the mag.

Two buffs are even better. I can cover my whole head except my eyes that way. It makes me look really dangerous.

I have four in total, although I can't find the penguin pattern one at the moment...

Excellent. I've been wearing mine in bed the last two nights to keep my neck warm.

I'd agree with that but don't like having my nose and mouth covered, no matter how cold it is.
It doesn't make me look very dangerous at all.
