Hi all, I've just had the above on my left knee and want to get back in the saddle as quickly as possible.
I'm doing all the exercises that my physio is giving me but I'm interested in anybody who has first hand experience of this and whether they have any plans that helped them get their fitness back.
Oh, I also don't have an ACL on the same knee.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, I was back on the bike after about 3 months I think. I had a second scope, was on the exercise bike in 2 weeks and on the road in 6

Do not ride until your physio clears you. Swimming is a good way to maintain fitness

Cheers, I will be doing exactly what the physio says as I'm pretty sure that they enjoy causing the pain that they put you through and I don't want to feed their addiction!

Mine is always very apologetic, and it does feel better after, honest!

How much meniscus was removed? Lateral or medial? Very important to keep those leg muscles strong and balanced to slow down the development of arthritis in the joint  I'd avoid that running nonsense too!
