Great pics Cathryn ... good to see you both looking so well.

Main roads of Leeds with the nipper - - I think your plan of quieter roads is a good one!!

You'll definitely have to bring Arthur on a CC East Yorks Posse ride this summer. Arch can carry the bottles, I'll pop the spare nappies in my jersey pocket, and the rest can draw straws on who carries the dirty nappies home ...

Cheers,
Shaun

here here! Although for a moment I thought you were implying I was some kind of alcoholic....

Cathryn, you'll soon learn optimal postioning for avoiding potholes and so on - put your bike just to one side of a hole, and wiggle a bit the right way (if you rode to the right of it, wiggle left again and vice versa) as you pass, and you'll be able to pass the two trailer wheels either side of it - unless it's really wide. It's the sort of thing we trike riders get the hang of quickly.

I'd love to see Arthur along on a posse ride! And, hang on, did you say California! He's been to California!? He's 19 weeks old, and he's been to California!?

There's a lot to get used to - the extra weight but also the fact that I stick out further on both sides (Richard said I nearly wiped out a hiker yesterday)

I'd forgotten that aspect of them - we only ever hired them on trails - but I would usually clunk them into the barriers in the path which as they were older they thought funny the first couple of times.

Those are lovely pics, Cathryn! Arthur is beautiful and it looks like it was a good time all round. We haven't tried cycling with Francis yet and we don't have the equipment yet (plus my wife is no kind of cyclist at all!), but we are going to take him out canoeing soon. And friends gave us one of those jogging strollers, so I have been out running with him. He likes that a lot! In the meantime, he's just getting bigger and more alert and burbling a lot to us (no problems with poo or vomit here at all, touch wood)...

Well, I guess canoeing is fine, just take all his clothes off and tow him behind the canoe in the water. Free bath!

I like the sheep theme in your pic... very cute!

Yep, Arch, I may have forgotten to post it but we took him to California when he was 11 weeks old. Richard was working out there for a week and then we were on hols. Had a great time, he travels well!!!
