Funny you should post that. We saw a K plate Bedford ice cream van yesterday. Ice cream vans and milk floats soldier on longer than most vehicles it would seem.

Given that vans are seemingly kept for years & years, it seemed very odd the other day to see a '63' plate Mercedes with the relevant body work!
If l see it again, I'll try to take a picture

You have to remeber that ice cream vans only go out when its sunny..
so some years they stay inside all bloody year and why they last so long..

I know quite a few of the Granelli family. A few of them are still in the ice cream business. They all originate from one village in Italy.
