i had the misfortune to find myself without any clients at the back end of last week (i'm a freelance graphic designer) and things were looking more than bleak, what with mrs alecetc still on maternity leave.

this week, i've had someone ring out of the blue with some work, i'll see them next week, and also some other irons are sitting warming in the fireplace.

best of all, there's a possibility that i could find some bike courier work to fill in the gaps. it may involve trikes and rickshaws, mind…

Self-employment certainly has its 'interesting' moments, but I suspect there are few of us who would ever consider going back to being an employee. Hope you get some fun with trikes in the mix. :-)
